Process

Shapes of Ice is inspired by a frozen lake near my families cabin. I explore my surroundings through a lense, which captured the creatures in the Ice who fed my creativity. With the theme ‘Stuck on an Island’ I share my journey and exploration of unconventional shapes and construction. Pushing the limitation of one garment and how it can be worn in multiple ways. I examine textures through yarn and push traditional techniques by mixing domestic knitting, crochet and embroidery.
