Halla Armanns is an Icelandic textile designer who specialises in knitted textiles. She graduated from London College of Fashion summer 2021, where she spent three years growing her practice. Halla has been hand knitting from a young age which has helped her develop a thorough understanding of the craft. 

 

In her designs, she incorporates her personal experiences, heritage and environment in means to communicate as a modern day story teller. Routed in the value of craftsmanship, she has strong sense of hand knitting traditions and her work evolves around pushing traditional techniques to create innovative and individualistic pieces.
