"Miðnætur Dögg // Midnight Dew"
is a Unique knitted wall piece. The piece is composed of three distinct layers, each knitted on a domestic knitting machine.
 
Lowest layer: Knitted with Icelandic wool in a stone gray color.
Middle layer: Knitted with high-twist English and merino wool.
Top layer: Knitted with lambswool and a 50/50 Alpaca and merino blend.
 
 
The piece is further adorned with embroidery and crochet details made from Icelandic wool.
Each layer hangs on a wooden stick, all bound together with black wire. The entire piece is suspended from a braid made of Icelandic horsehair.
 
The piece measures 44x30cm with the braid adding 39 cm to the lenght.
